Presentation at the Economic Chamber of Macedonia on the importance of the GlobalG.A.P. & GRASP Standards

Representatives of T-CERT System, as an authorised business partner of TUV NORD Bulgaria in N. Macedonia, took part in the event on the development, export and certification of local fruit and vegetable production, organised by Lidl North Macedonia DOOEL Skopje in cooperation with Increasing Market Employability – IME and GIZ North Macedonia, attended by more than 100 companies, experts and institutions, to advance knowledge of and the importance of the GlobalG.A.P. and GRASP standards. Through the “Fit for Supply” project

• Lidl North Macedonia DOOEL Skopje will help Macedonian products reach the market
• IME co-finances up to 50% of the certification costs
• GIZ North Macedonia provides expert support

T-CERT System https://t-cert.mk/ as a certification body offers you, through this project, the opportunity to be certified according to:

• GlobalG.A.P. – an international standard for good agricultural practice which guarantees safe food.
• GRASP – an additional (add-on module) which focuses on social responsibility, that is, the conditions of workers on farms – pay, health, safety, non-discrimination

The standards were presented by the expert in the field Zorica Smilevska, certification manager at T-CERT System.

The GlobalG.A.P. and GRASP certificates not only open the door to Lidl North Macedonia DOOEL Skopje, but also to European markets, and strengthen the position of farmers on the competitive global market.

This cooperation reflects the conviction that Macedonian products belong not only on local shelves, but also on European tables.
